The experience
A place of memory and resistance
Landhuis Knip, also known as Kenepa, is linked to a defining moment in Curaçao’s history. In 1795, Tula led the freedom struggle that began on this plantation and became the island’s largest resistance against slavery.
Museo Tula gives space to stories of resistance, identity and community. A visit is an opportunity to listen, reflect and understand the island through the people who fought for freedom.
